Pier Luca received the Weissenberg Award 2023 at the International Rheology Conference 2023 in Athens with the following citation:

He gave a plenary lecture entitled “Microfluidics of noncolloidal rigid particles in viscoelastic fluids” chaired by Nino Grizzuti.
